Arcade parts maker, Sanwa Denshi Co Ltd wants you to “take control” of your life and is literally thinking about making a part to help you achieve that.   What you see above is a keypad on a joystick.  Not as tasty as a hotdog on a bun, but certainly with the right mix, can be just as interesting.

Just unveiled at JAEPO 2013 this past weekend this unit is strictly a prototype and we wouldn’t be surprised if it never sees light of day.  Now only if we could convince Sanwa Denshi to make a control pad for our iPhone so we can justify all those unplayed downloaded “unplayable” touchscreen (controlled) games.

As a bonus in the pic you see above, those are their 3D buttons.  These buttons are slightly convex like their OBSF30 solid buttons, but with the right artwork inside, they will give you the 3D effect.  Best yet 3D should be compatible with all eyes, no specific 3D glasses needed.  Pretty groovy.
