SHODOWN II

As they say in the aerospace business, "we have ignition!" After previewing Samurai Shodown II at the AMOA Expo, SNK will now supply the North American industry with this sequel to their #1 hit Samurai Shodown nor only as a system cartridge, but as a conversion kit and in what they call a "dedicated upright."

The upright began trucking to the company's distributors the last week of October, with the kit and the cartridge coming in mid-November. To offer it dedicated as well as in software form is quite an event for SNK. Clearly, the game has strength, but in the words of company sales top Tracy Tate, "we also released it this way to help operators and distributors realize that Neo•Geo games are individual winners and not just great cartridge changes."
