How This Tournament Will Work
On January 9th at 1:00 PM Central time, I will form the bracket and PM everyone their first match. Unlike offline tournaments where same regions will not play each other until the later rounds, you will be seeded where people from the same region will play in the first rounds due to lag issues. You will have 48 hours to schedule and play your match.
If the match isn't played at that time, it is your responsibility to message me to either request an extension or provide a reason why you are not able to make it to your match. You are allowed 2 extensions for the tournament, but you may not ask for both extensions in the same match, nor are you allowed to request an extension in consecutive rounds. An extension will grant you an additional 24 hours to play your match.
If you fail to communicate with your opponent, it is your responsibility to provide me with a capture shot of your PM box so that there is evidence that you tried to talk to him. I will make the call to disqualify him.
Playing Your Match
Each match will be played using standard rules.
Remix mode
99 sec timer
2/3 rounds to win a game
2/3 games to win a match
Akuma is banned
Handicaps is banned
voice chat is off.
Only VIDEO evidence is acceptable of rage quits or character changers. The rage quitter will be DQ'ed. The character changer will be given a loss of game.
