  Pioneer's separate amp/pre-amp beasts for home theater usage. Also uses the Class D technology, but generally with separates, sound and picture quality is maximized as the internal interference is minimized  Yeah, this guy's a beast. Pre-amp portion, which is where the processing and audio/video switching occurs. Basically, the brains of the unit.   The guts or the place where the speakers get's it's power. Both pieces are tentatively priced at $7000 USD MSRP. Not bad if you compare them to other equivalent products on the market
