KING OF FIGHTERS 2006 for PS2: Hidden Characters' Pix and Bios

"The latest edition of SNK's popular fighting series, King of Fighters is set to ship on September 19 for the PlayStation 2. In addition to a number of hidden costumes, levels and special modes, there will be 13 hidden characters.

We have posted some great art as well as character backgrounds for each of the hidden characters in King of Fighters 2006.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2006 is an original 3D fighting game designed specifically for the PlayStation 2, and produced by noted artist and designer, Falcoon. Currently celebrating its twelfth year as one of the most popular fighting video game franchises in the history of gaming, THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2006 will continue to build on the series' rich history with several new characters, as well as many returning favorites. KOF 2006 will feature characters from THE KING OF FIGHTERS: MAXIMUM IMPACT and a number of hidden characters from other well known SNK franchises."

SNK Playmore Corp. really stepped it up in their follow up their first 3-D KOF installment of KOF: MI (Maximum Impact). With a much improved game engine and wicked new combos, KOF 2006 (KOF: MI2 in Japan) delivers what we've expected from them all these years, which is to make games that play well and most importantly are fun and addicting. While KOF: MI received mixed reviews among it's fans, SNK Playmore went back into the drawing board and tweaked the game engine to satisfy not only the casual players, but also hardcore fighting game fanatic.

Add a large cast of characters on top of a plethora of hidden ones and you have yourself a winner. If you're a fan of the 2-D version of the KOF series, give KOF 2006 a shot as it is truly a great game overall.
