Overview
Its been only a year since the last tourney, but hey you know it doesnt end there. With a new cast comes more challenges! Let's go!

Graphics 10/10
Capcom vs SNK brought the cast of fighters into a new look and design. But this time there is another addition..3d backgrounds? In the mix of 2d/3d they really show how far the Naomi hardware can go. Even though some character sprites are brought back, there is alot of fighters added.

Gameplay/Controls 9/10
Gameplay this time rounds out with a 3 VS 3 option (with the Ratio system making a comeback but less faulty).Plus you have better control in deciding which fighter you'd like to be more offensive/defensive and round your team out,or go solo its up to you. (*Plus new groove styles.. that of.. C,A,P & S,N,K) Each has their own abilities and styles for the player to take a shot at. *Control notes* Instead of just using default control you can use the Capcom or SNK settings. You'll feel right at home with either one.(although SNK fans will have a tough time trying to play their fav fighters in a different style.)

Sound/Music 10/10
Capcom Sound Team brings us more tunes to jam along to?..Wait I just typed that. Well dont think that just because some tunes are different from the previous game doesnt mean that you wont like em.Actually there's some nice quality tunes. This is a lil bit more funky/groovy style plus a mix of various styles. It may not be every gamers fav but its something you'll definitely wanna listen to while playing.

Replay Value 10/10
Tons of characters! And lets say it again! Just how much data can they fit on the Naomi GD-Rom's anyways? There's plenty of replay value here as you'll want to try the different grooves, to see which fighter fits best.Alot better than the previous title CvS1.

Overall 9/10
Capcom vs SNK II goes to show how much farther Sega's Arcade system Naomi can really go! Plus better gameplay and more added cuz hey its Capcom and you know thats gonna happen. (EX Notes) CVS2 shares its own problems alongside its parent CvS1. So here's the list. -Only 2 characters are unlockable! (What's with all the black squares?) Tons more could have been added, but there was more than enough yet some missing. -Not much to unlock..(just being able to unlock a new "Create your own Groove" section) And Boss Battle +EX Survival. Did we really need a survival mode? -PS2&DC(Import Only) The Japanese versions of this title on the two hard hitting consoles were only able to go online and against one another.Plus CvS2 was only available as a Japan title only! Thankfully Capcom & SNK(Playmore) agreed to go along with US production for the PS2,GC & Xbox. -Xbox Live! Yeah you know this is where its at! But wait the PS2 gamers get no love with an online game? Tough to say..PS2 US didnt get the online feature, but the Xbox really gets the goods plus you can fight against fellow gamers online anytime! With a few problems CvS2 really hits the mark of being a kick @$$ 2d VS game. Yet it doesnt end here folks..cuz SNK VS Capcom has just hit arcades! Do your part and give this new game a shot.
